Before or after the Meal:
Begin your walk through the historic center of Archanes, strolling the cobblestone alleys lined with colorful neoclassical and stone mansions. You can visit the Archaeological Museum of Archanes, which features finds from the Minoan era, as well as the Minoan Palace in the Tourkogeitonia area. A visit to the local vineyards and the renowned "Boutari" winery is also worthwhile, where you'll learn about local grape varieties and sample select wines. For relaxation, enjoy a coffee or dessert in the central square under the shade of ancient plane trees, before or after your meal.
