Before or After the Meal:
Begin with a visit to the Viannos Holocaust Museum, which honors the memory of the victims of the 1943 Nazi atrocity and serves as a strong pillar of historical awareness for Crete. Continue with a tour of the ancient site of Arvi, while enjoying the wild nature of Viannos’ gorges along the way, such as the Pefki Gorge and Armenoi Gorge. The village square is ideal for a coffee under the shade of plane trees, and for nature lovers, hiking along the trails of Mount Dikti is a truly memorable experience.
