Before or after the Meal:
Start your experience with a swim at Matala beach, with a view of the legendary caves carved into the cliffs. Explore the caves themselves—once Roman tombs—that drew thousands of world travelers in the ’60s and ’56s. You can also visit the small archaeological park nearby or the Church of Panagia, perched on a hill with panoramic views of the bay.
